Job purpose

• Undertake daily marketing and administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department鈥檚 activities.
• Contribute to the delivery of the marketing plan and projects under guidance from the marketing manager, to include the following role responsibilities.

Role responsibilities

• Write project briefs for graphic designers, web agencies etc.
• Update the company website with content including events listings, images and news section
• Review website analytics in response to campaigns and recommend improvements for performance.
• Manage third party provisions and request ad hoc changes
• Create marketing and sales assets
• Create and deliver marketing campaigns
• Run the company鈥檚 social media pages including scheduling and posting regular and interesting content, driving engagement in different forms and responding to comments and messages.
• Create and distribute email marketing campaigns using the company鈥檚 CRM system and reporting on results.
• Create marketing reports as required, using the company鈥檚 CRM system.
• Create and deliver a PR plan including writing press releases.
• Track and report accurate metrics to support agreed KPI measurements.
• Support the marketing manager in identifying opportunities for customer insight, and sourcing and analysing accurate and compliant data.
• Track and report on customer retention and satisfaction, including seeking, reporting on and responding to customer feedback.
• Write, edit and proofread marketing collateral including web, leaflets, emails, press releases and news articles.
• Support the marketing manager in devising an annual plan for newsletters, creating content, segmenting audiences and tracking metrics and effectiveness.
• Raise purchase orders and track marketing expenditure.

The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of the following marketing responsibilities.

• Manage the marketing assets including accurately updating the company鈥檚 image gallery and ensuring all other departments have access to the correct brand and marketing assets.
• Actively contribute ideas for marketing programmes designed to enhance and grow the company鈥檚 brand.
• Respond to incoming marketing-related queries.
• Support other departments as requested in marketing-related areas such as copywriting and proofing, data compliance etc.

Essential skills and experience

• Proven marketing experience
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work well under pressure to tight deadlines
• Able to communicate confidently with clients, customers, suppliers and external agencies.
• A naturally creative thinker with exceptional attention to detail
• Curious, insight driven and customer-focused
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Experience of managing social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram)
• Experience of using and updating WordPress websites.

Desirable skills and experience

The following would also be useful:

• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere).
• Experience using Canva for professional work
• Video editing experience

• Full, clean driving licence
